Jordan Richardson was born in Athens, GA and raised in nearby Oconee County. He attended Athens Academy where he lettered in football, basketball, track and field, and golf. After high school he made his way to Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where he was a 4-year starter on the football team. He is the record holder for the most consecutive games started at 43 games, and the all-time leader in tackles for the University at the defensive tackle position. He was a two-time winner of the George L. Murtagh award (presented to the most outstanding lineman on the team), and he was twice named to the All-Patriot League team. Jordan majored in economics and minored in music while at Georgetown, and was a two-time dean’s list member as well as a two-time All-Patriot League academic member. After receiving his degree, Jordan joined the real estate debt capital markets team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (“BAML”) in New York City where he focused on providing financing for real estate mergers and acquisitions through the securitized capital markets and bridge loans on transitional real estate assets. After two years at BAML, Jordan moved to the real estate investments group at the Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, where he focused on equity and debt placements. Jordan is currently engaged to, Dorehn, the love of his life, and they will be getting married in February of 2020. They both look forward to starting their lives together in Athens, GA. They are both fitness enthusiasts and enjoy running marathons and lifting weights together; leaving space for the occasional cheat meal. Other than fitness, Jordan enjoys theology, sports, fine dining and is huge lover of music, as he grew up playing 4 instruments. Jordan lives by the quote, “Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.”
