Associate Vice President of Learning and Engagement
Emily has been a member of Landmark Properties since 2007. During her time with Landmark, Emily has served in varying roles both on site and at the corporate level. Ultimately finding her niche in employee development, she now holds the position of Director of Learning and Engagement. As Director of Learning and Engagement, Emily’s main objective is to provide staff with the necessary tools to succeed in their positions. This includes developing and overseeing specialized training programs, such as the Landmark Learning Lab, a year-long program that fosters internal talent. As part of her role, she is also responsible for improving employee engagement and enriching the company’s culture through her partnership with FranklinCovey and her credentials as a facilitator of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Identifying and encouraging new talent is a passion of Emily’s and one she gets to pursue regularly through her relationship with the Residential Property Management program at UGA and her Learning Committee Chair position on the UGA RPM Advisory Board.
Emily, originally from south Georgia, moved to Athens to attend the University of Georgia where she graduated with an English degree. She is also currently pursuing her Master’s in Education at UGA in Learning, Leadership, and Organizational Development. Emily currently still resides in Athens with her husband Geoff and their dogs Stella and Ripley.
