As President and CEO of Landmark Properties, Wes has overseen the design, financing, development, and operations of nearly $4 Billion worth of new construction student housing. Wes is responsible for establishing and implementing Landmark¹s overall corporate strategy. He is very involved in the development and finance sides of the Company¹s business, but his hands on leadership style keeps him engaged in all aspects of the business. With roughly $1.5 Billion of student housing currently under construction, Landmark has been consistently ranked the most active student housing developer and largest student housing general contractor in the country.

Wes, an Athens, GA native, obtained his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia in 1999 and his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from UGA in 2004. Upon graduating business school in 2004, he co-founded Landmark Properties. Wes was named the 2017 E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year for the Southeast US in the Real Estate Category.

Wes lives in Athens with his wife, Kimberly, and sons, James, Harrison and William.

Since 2003, James has been involved in the orchestration, design, development, construction, and management of Student Housing projects across the country. As COO of Landmark Properties, James is responsible for all operational aspects associated with the company's student portfolio. James has built a team of industry leading professionals and has helped guide Landmark Properties to the forefront of the student housing industry. James has also been integral in the development of the Student Cottage Concept under the "Retreat" brand, and is heavily involved with the development of the luxury urban infill branded "The Standard".

An Athens, GA native, James graduated from the University of Georgia with a BLA in Land Planning with a focus on Urban Design. He began his career in real estate in 1999; in May 2004 he co-founded Landmark Properties, Inc.

James served as the Board Chairman of the Athens Boys and Girls Club and serves on the University of Georgia's Student Affairs Advisory Board. He is an active real estate broker, a member of the Athens Area Homebuilders Association and Athens Chamber of Commerce. James lives in Athens with his wife Jessica, daughter, Britten, and son, Bronson.

Jason joined Landmark Properties in 2010 and is responsible for identifying development opportunities throughout the US in university markets. In this role, Jason is responsible for structuring acquisitions, overseeing the entitlement process, design and engineering of new developments, as well as working with Landmark's debt and equity partners to secure appropriate capital for development opportunities. Landmark's development pipeline is currently the largest of any student housing real estate developer in the US. Before joining Landmark, Jason was the Director of Finance for Place Properties. Prior to entering the student housing sector, Jason worked in the real estate finance sector as an Investment Officer at Merrill Lynch Capital and began his career as a Credit Analyst at Regions Bank.

Jason obtained his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia in 2000. He Serves on the board of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and is an elder at First Presbyterian Church of Athens. Jason and his wife, Andrea, live in Athens with their three daughters.

Andrew joined Landmark in 2013 as a Senior Vice President of Development. His core responsibilities include taking development opportunities from sourcing to stabilization, as well as working with the Company's institutional partners. Over the past 5+ years, his efforts have resulted in over $1.3 billion of mixed-use, purpose-built student assets across the U.S., including student-oriented retail, hotel and office product.

Before joining Landmark, Andrew was Sr. Vice President of Investments and General Counsel for Campus Crest Communities, Inc. (NYSE: CCG). Prior to joining Campus Crest, Andrew managed the acquisitions and development arm for Consolidated-Tomoka Land Co. (NYSE: CTO), a diversified estate investment company focused on the retail, office, industrial and land sectors. Prior to entering the real estate industry, Mr. Young was a Vice President in the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Citigroup, Inc. (NYSE: C). He holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis, and is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar Association.

Blair is a veteran of the student housing industry, where he has spent 16 of the last 18 years in a variety of roles in development, asset management, and property management. Notably, his prior experience includes four years (2012-2016) as a Vice President of Development at Landmark when he was involved in many of the company’s development pursuits, including The Standard at Athens, The Retreat at Corvallis, StoneFire at Berkeley, The Standard at Charlottesville, The Retreat at Harrisonburg, and The Standard at Knoxville, among others. For the past two years, Blair led the east coast development operation of Public Storage, the world’s largest self-storage owner and the United States’ 4th largest REIT. He is excited to be returning to the student housing industry with Landmark and is looking forward to working with the many professionals at the company.

Blair is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a BA in Political Science. He lives in Marietta with his wife, Michele, and their children Lily (8) and Teddy (4). In his free time, he enjoys traveling, supporting his kids’ extra-curricular activities, and following politics.

Mark joined Landmark Properties in 2017 as Senior Vice President of Development. His responsibilities include sourcing development opportunities and taking projects through entitlements to stabilization as well as working with the company's institutional partners.

Before joining Landmark, Mark was Vice President of Development for The NRP Group and was responsible for the origination and execution of market rate multifamily developments with a focus on urban and suburban mixed-use communities. While working at The NRP Group, he was instrumental in the development of over 3,000 units of new construction in Texas representing over $450 million in total development cost as well as underwriting, financing and predevelopment efforts for market rate projects across the development platform. Mark also previously worked on the development and construction teams at Taubman in Michigan and the Sares-Regis Group in Southern California.

Mark earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Brigham Young University and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and enjoys spending time with his wife Carrie and their two daughters.

Mark served as the Managing Director of Investments with Inland America’s student housing affiliate and delivered 4,400+ beds ranging from wrap wood frame projects to a 20-story mixed-use urban development. Prior to that, Mark spent 11 years in the extended-stay hotel business and developed 22 projects in markets across the Southeast for an affiliate of Security Capital Group. Mark earned his MBA at Emory University, and his BS in Mathematics & Economics from Wake Forest University.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys running, playing golf, and spending time with his wife & two sons.

Walt joined Landmark in 2014 as Head of Portfolio Management. His responsibilities include forming and implementing portfolio strategies, overseeing asset management and acquisition activities as well as developing and maintaining relationships with institutional investors.

Prior to joining Landmark, Walt was a Senior Vice President at Blue Vista Capital Management, LLC, an investment management firm based in Chicago, IL that invests in all real property types across the U.S. During his more than 8 years with Blue Vista, Walt was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring and closing transactions for Blue Vista's various funds. He was involved in over $1 billion of student housing related transactions while helping expand Blue Vista's relationships with lenders and investors in the sector. Walt started his career as a corporate and investment banking analyst at Bank of America Securities, LLC.

Walt received a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University where he majored in Industrial Engineering and Economics.

Chris joined Landmark in 2015 as General Counsel, where he oversees all legal matters, activities, and relationships.

Prior to joining Landmark, Chris practiced with McKenna Long & Aldridge, LLP and Baker & Hostetler, LLP. While at McKenna and Baker, Chris represented Landmark, major national banks, multi-campus health systems, private equity funds and other clients in a broad array of complex commercial real estate transactions. His experience includes acquisitions, financings (construction financing, REIT financing, conduit lending and loan assumptions and modifications), lease transactions, and dispositions.

Chris received his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. Chris is a member in good standing with the Georgia Bar.

Since 2010, Joe has served as a consultant to numerous affiliates of Starwood Capital Group. In this role, he has performed as one of the lead portfolio managers for investments comprised of non-performing loan pools and REO properties located throughout the United States. Since 2010, he has either led or played a key role in the workout and disposition of over 50 non-performing loans or REO properties representing over $250 million in gross sale proceeds. Joe has also assisted affiliates of Starwood Capital Group in the underwriting of new investment opportunities.

Prior to his work with Starwood, Joe was a Manager in the Transaction Real Estate practice at Ernst & Young and before that he was an Associate Equity Research Analyst for the REIT team at BB&T Capital Markets.

Joe graduated magna cum laude from Washington & Lee University in 2004.

Aaron Stange Development Manager

Aaron joined Landmark as a Development Manager in 2018. His responsibilities include identifying and underwriting investment opportunities, managing the design and development process, securing financing, managing the closing process and assisting senior developers.

Prior to joining Landmark, Aaron worked for National Real Estate Development, the development arm of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers pension fund. During his time at National, he was involved in the design, development and lease-up of “East Market”, a $600 million 4 acre mixed use development site located at 12th and Market Street’s in Philadelphia. Phase 1 was comprised of six hundred luxury multi-family units, 200,000 square feet of office space, and 150,000 square feet of retail. Additionally, Aaron was also involved in the development and lease-up of “the Bloc”, a $500 million mixed use development located at 7th and Flower in downtown Los Angeles, CA. Aaron has also previously held positions as Director of Capital Markets at The Carlton Group in New York and as a Director of a $4.2 billion debt fund with the Blackstone Group in New York.

Aaron earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drexel University and currently lives in Oconee County with his wife, Daniela, and two children, Marius and Eva.

Andrew joined Landmark Properties in 2015 and his responsibilities include supporting the senior developers in identifying suitable investment opportunities, underwriting key markets, working with land sellers, overseeing design development, managing financial underwriting, securing capital from debt and equity partners, and closing.

Prior to joining Landmark, Andrew worked for North American Properties on the acquisition and finance team and then the multifamily development team. During his tenure at North American Properties, Andrew was involved in all aspects of the investment cycle from site identification to disposition across retail, multifamily, and mixed use product types.

Andrew is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and obtained his B.B.A. in Real Estate from the University of Georgia. He lives in Athens with his wife Theresa and their son Ford.

Bose joined Landmark as a Development Manager in 2016. His responsibilities include supporting senior developers in identifying potential sites, underwriting key markets, working with land sellers, overseeing design development, managing financial underwriting, securing financing, and closing.

Prior to joining Landmark, Bose worked for Trammell Crow Residential on the Southeastern Division's development team. During his time at TCR Bose was involved in every phase of the development process from site selection to sale. He managed the financial underwriting on 2,850+ units across the Southeast and Florida, closed on projects totaling $250 million in development costs, and conducted due diligence across the division's target markets.

A native of Raleigh, NC, Bose attended Washington and Lee University where he graduated with a B.A. in American History. He obtained a M.B.A. from UNC Kenan-Flagler where he focused on Real Estate and Finance.

Bose and his wife, Katie, live in Athens with their son Bose and two dogs. He enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling in his spare time.

Eric joined Landmark Properties as a Development Manager in 2018. His primary responsibilities include assisting senior developers with identifying and underwriting investment opportunities, managing the development process, securing financing and ensuring delivery.

Prior to joining Landmark, Eric worked for Anthony Property Group in Raleigh, NC on acquisitions and development of conventional multifamily and light-industrial properties. Eric also has experience in the student housing sector with Corvias Campus Living.

Eric attended North Carolina State University graduating with a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Business Administration. He has an M.B.A. from UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School with concentrations in Real Estate and Corporate Finance.

In his free time Eric enjoys spending time in the outdoors, traveling, and cooking.

Marina joined Landmark in 2017 as a Development Manager. Her core responsibilities include underwriting opportunities, securing entitlements and financing, and coordinating consultants.

Prior to joining Landmark, Marina was an assistant project manager with Paradigm Development Company, serving on the multifamily acquisitions and development team. While there, her responsibilities included underwriting investments, advancing rezoning applications, and managing consultants from design through stabilization. During her tenure, Marina worked on luxury developments valued at over $400 million and completed a 600-apartment renovation.

Marina holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brooklyn College. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Jeff served as Development Manager at Loudermilk Companies located in Atlanta, GA focusing on the development of residential condominiums in Midtown and Buckhead. While at Loudermilk Companies, he managed the development of a 20-unit luxury condominium mixed-use development in the heart of Midtown. He most recently helped manage the pre-sales marketing campaign and architectural design of a 57-unit luxury condominium mixed-use development in the heart of Buckhead. Before his shift to the development side of the company, he managed the leasing and operations of the Loudermilk Companies' portfolio of office and retail as well as a heavy involvement with the company's parking operations arm. Prior to his focus in development and asset management he worked in the accounting side of Loudermilk Companies as the controller.

Jeff received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgia State University. He enjoys spending his spare time outdoors with his family and the weekly family movie night.

Gisela joined Landmark Properties in 2015. Currently, as Portfolio Manager, she is responsible for the execution of refinancing, recapitalization, and disposition of assets, the preparation of investment return projections, and the analysis and monitoring of performance of managed assets.

Prior to joining Landmark, Gisela worked in the corporate finance team for the largest telecom firm in Paraguay, South America, Tigo Millicom Group. She also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers Paraguay as an external auditor.

As a Fulbright scholar, Gisela earned her MBA in Finance at the University of Georgia in 2012. She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Bachelor in Accounting from the Catholic University of Asuncion, Paraguay.

Amanda Henningsen received her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2013, where she was a member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law (2010-2013), a Dean's Ambassador (2010-2013), Student Bar Association Representative (2010-2011) and Vice President of the Law Republicans (2012-2013). She received both her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, and her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in English, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and the University of Georgia Competitive Cheerleading Team.

Prior to joining Landmark, Amanda practiced with Mahaffey Pickens Tucker, LLP, where she regularly represented clients in a wide variety of general corporate and commercial transactions. Amanda also focused her practice onrepresenting buyers, sellers and lenders in the acquisition, financing and disposition of commercial real estate, including retail, multi-family, office and industrial properties.

Before joining Landmark, Gordon worked as a geologist for 5 years at BHP Billiton in Houston TX. During his time at BHP, he developed offshore drilling prospects and supported lease sales in Trinidad, The Gulf of Mexico, and Algeria. He was also involved with asset valuation, acreage sale due diligence, and executing dozens of horizontal wells in West Texas.

Gordon obtained a MBA from Rice University with a focus in Real Estate. He also holds a MS in Geology from the University of Texas and a BA in Geology from Washington and Lee University. His wife and he enjoy spending time outside, spoiling their dog, and cooking.

John Patrick joined Landmark Properties as a Development Analyst in 2016. In this role, he is responsible for researching prospective markets, underwriting potential acquisitions and assisting the development team.

Prior to joining Landmark, John was the Finance and Marketing Specialist for Push Motion LLC, a startup company in Monroe, Georgia, that provides a variety of services for small businesses. In this position, his tasks included capital budgeting, product pricing, market research, brand development, and recruiting. Prior to joining Push Motion LLC, John performed a wide range of tasks for Soaps by Elsa, a bath and body company located in Santiago, Dominican Republic, that he co-founded with his mother, Elsa de Bertran.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, John moved to Athens, Georgia in 2011. He graduated summa cum laude from The University of Georgia in 2016, with degrees in Finance and International Business. During his time at UGA, he also had the opportunity to study abroad for a semester in The University of Oxford, UK. In his spare time, John enjoys playing guitar, listening to rock and electronic music, playing tennis, dancing salsa, and traveling.

Kevin Howe joins Landmark Properties as Vice President of Operations and brings an extensive background in hospitality, conventional multi-family, and national student housing portfolio management experience. Kevin maintains a passion for student housing management and operations, and believes that a hospitality-based and service-oriented approach to serving the housing needs of our student customers (and their parents) is the key to building a strong sense of community and relationships, and our opportunity to support the Higher Education initiative for our customers.

Kevin most recently served in senior operations roles with Innovative Student Housing and Campus Living Villages and has managed on-campus/off-campus student housing investments for institutional owners, REIT's, and private investors throughout the country. Prior to his student housing experience, Kevin had opened and operated regional management offices for conventional multi-family management companies in the Midwest, Mountain West and Southwest markets, and has been based in Houston since 1999.

Kevin is a graduate of the University of Houston, Conrad Hilton College of Hotel/Restaurant Management, and also holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®). Kevin has been married to his wife, Jan, for twenty years (...and counting) and they are the proud parents of Jayde and Jack. Kevin and his family enjoy active outdoor activities, travel and live music whenever possible.

Jonathan serves as the Vice President of Business Development and Consulting Services for Landmark Properties. With over 10 years of experience in student housing and college student services, He serves as the liaison for new clients as they join the Landmark managed portfolio. He also provides coordination and oversight of Landmark's consulting services. His experience includes numerous high quality studies for clients which spanned operational assessment, market assessment, feasibility analysis, and due diligence for acquisitions.

Jonathan began his career in on-campus residence life, and then spent 8 years working in operations, consulting and business development roles with expanding responsibility at Campus Advantage, Inc. In 2014, Jonathan was the on-site project manager for a six-month engagement at Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok, Russia, coordinating efforts to launch or improve residence life, student services, dormitory management and campus branding. Before being promoted to grow business development and consulting efforts, He served as National Director of Residence Life, training student staff, transitioning new properties and developing management systems for operations.

Jonathan holds a M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont. He completed his undergraduate studies in communication at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He's an avid reader, kayaker and cook, and is happily married to a budding wine expert and seasoned PR professional, his wife Anna.

Nick brings over 13 years of student housing experience to his position as Regional Manager with Landmark Properties. Prior to joining Landmark, Nick worked for American Campus Communities for 9+ years where he held various positions ranging from Community Assistant to Regional Manager. Nick was one of the first graduates of ACC's annual "Inside Track" future managers program and also served as a mentor for the program later in his career. In 2010, Nick left ACC to pursue career opportunities with Denver based Cardinal Group Management and had direct supervision over their Atlanta based Westmar Student Lofts project. This project won the 2012 Student Housing Business Awards for Best Turnaround and Best Marketing / Lease Up. Nick has spent the last two years of his career working as a Regional Operations Manager for Aspen Heights where he had oversight of their entire East Coast portfolio.

Nick and his wife Katherine currently reside in Bishop, GA with their 2 year old son Lachlan and their second son Cohen will arrive in July 2014. Nick is also a graduate of the University of Georgia where he earned his degree in Housing and Economics. Nick also graduated from Mercer University in 2007 with a Master's of Business Administration degree in Management. Nick and his family love spending time outdoors and they greatly enjoy Fall Saturdays in Athens, GA when the Bulldogs take the field.

Sara has been in the property management industry for the past 10 years, with a 7-year focus in student housing. Prior to joining Landmark, Sara worked for Campus Crest Group in various position ranging from new construction General Manager to Area Manager. Sara spent two years of her career working for regional 3rd party management companies implementing their student housing programs.

Sara is skilled in student housing program development, marketing & leasing, operations and training. She has experience with new construction and renovation lease-ups, as well as managing stable and distressed properties. Sara has managed properties in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Alabama, Florida, Maine, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.

In 2008, Sara received her Bachelors of Science degree in Interior Design with a minor in Marketing from Ball State University, and subsequently in 2009 completed a Master's of Arts in Residential Property Management. Sara resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana with her son Finn.

Katie, born and raised in a small town in southwest Georgia, moved to Athens to become an official Georgia Bulldog in 2002. She first joined Landmark Properties in May 2006 as a leasing intern. After graduating from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business in 2006, with a degree in Real Estate, Katie was offered a full-time position as Sales Associate.

As a Sales Associate at Landmark, Katie was in charge of communicating with and assisting prospective buyers, as well as scheduling and coordinating closings. She acted as a liaison between Landmark and all investors by communicating with them on any upcoming projects. Katie was also especially active in the setup and maintenance of Landmark's expansion into Columbia, South Carolina and Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

In 2017, Katie received a Masters in Information Technology from UGA after working several years on Landmark’s technology-related projects. She now serves as Landmark's Vice President of Technology Services. In her current role, Katie handles all technology initiatives for Landmark including telecommunications, business intelligence and managing third party IT relationships. Katie lives in Athens with her husband, Harley, and their perfect six month old daughter, Ella.

Aaron joined Landmark in 2018 as Director of Information Systems.  Prior to joining Landmark, Aaron was a Network Administrator at Connected Technologies.  There he was responsible with assisting Landmark, and other clients, with their technology needs.

Aaron has worked various I.T. roles in the student housing industry for over 10 years, from initial construction to day-to-day desktop, server, and network support.

Aaron is responsible for the continued maintenance, development, and expansion of Landmark's technology enterprise; its corporate office, branch offices, and construction sites.

Aaron lives in Jefferson, GA with his wife, Erica, and daughters, Natalie and Claire.

Anita Arnold started her career in student housing over 13 years ago and worked through the ranks from part-time Community Assistant to, most recently, a Regional Director. In 2011 Anita joined the Landmark team as the Community Manager at the Retreat Columbia; an asset with third-party management of individually owned cottages with an active HOA. As of April 2016, she joined Landmark's corporate team as a Regional Director based out of home office in Columbia, SC. Prior to joining Landmark, Anita started her career with EDR in Athens, Georgia while attending UGA and was promoted to several rolls before taking a Community Manager position in Columbia, SC. After leaving EDR, Anita worked for Holder Properties at their property in downtown Columbia and continued her long-standing relationship with the University of South Carolina's Off-Campus Student Services Department and involvement with the Carolina Coalition.

Anita is originally from Lincoln, England and moved to Watkinsville, Georgia in 2005. After attending UGA she later moved to Columbia with her husband where she enjoys spending time with her 2-year-old Son Dominic.

Tim comes to Landmark Properties with over 10 years of student housing experience. Prior to joining Landmark, Tim most recently worked for Peak Campus for two years and eight years with Campus Advantage before that. He started his career as a part time community assistant and found a passion for student housing management. After community assistant, he held all facets of the industry up to an Area Regional Manager. At Peak Campus, Tim obtained several awards from the company's High Achiever Award to Peak's Mindset Award.

Having touched student housing properties in many cities, Tim brings a large knowledge from different markets and demographics. Tim is skilled in operations, marketing, training, development, & leasing. Tim has experienced lease ups, renovations, & transitions.

Tim resides in South Bend, IN with continued ties to the University of Notre Dame; he is a diehard Irish fan. Tim's hobbies include collecting rare scotch & bourbon, cooking, and traveling the world.

William Ramsey has been involved in the student housing industry for 12 years. William's experience began in the public sector with LSU's Department of Residential Life, and the majority of his career has been located off-campus with private operators.

William has managed communities located in Alabama, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas & Virginia. Prior to joining Landmark Properties, William worked with Aspen Heights, LP of Austin, TX; Campus Apartments, Inc. of Philadelphia, PA and Firstworthing of Dallas, TX.

William is skilled in marketing & leasing, operations, management and training & development. William has experience in lease ups (both new construction and existing sites) and managing operational communities.

In 2007, William Ramsey received a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and a minor in Leadership Development from LSU.

Becky has been a member of the Landmark Properties team since 2007. A native of Dublin, Georgia, Becky moved to Athens to attend the University of Georgia. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree, she took a position as Office Assistant with Landmark. Because of her organization skills and attention to detail, Becky was then offered the position of Property Manager in Athens. Becky has since risen up the ranks and now serves as Operations Specialist. As Operations Specialist, Becky provides support to site managers, facilitates set-up for new projects, and ensures the proper functioning of day-to-day operations throughout Landmark's vast portfolio.

After overseeing the opening of Landmark's first urban infill development in Athens GA, Daniel now serves as Director of Facilities for Landmark Properties. He ensures that the fundamental objectives of the facilities department are met, acts as administrator for Landmark capital improvement projects, and is also instrumental in the transition of sites from construction to operational status. Daniel has worked in the housing industry for over 18 years including a 7-year span with American Campus Communities. He holds a BS from the University of Georgia bringing a broad range of sought-after technical knowledge and skills with management experience to the Landmark team.

Adam serves as the Director of Residence Life for Landmark Properties. With over 13 years of experience in student housing and student affairs, he is responsible for providing direction, growth and leadership for the implementation of Landmark Properties student education and engagement programs, services, and operations for nearly 20,000 beds across the US. He is also responsible for leading and participating in various residence life training sessions, student-focused initiatives, and corporate committees. The Director provides indirect supervision to community managers and community ambassadors at each of Landmark's thirty-six managed communities.

Adam began his career at the University of Tennessee in on-campus housing and residence life, and then continued his work in on-campus housing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington where he spent 5 years working for Housing as well as a Student Affairs representative on divisional and university projects. Before joining the team at Landmark Properties, Adam worked for 7 years in University Housing at the University of Georgia serving as a Senior Coordinator.

Adam holds a Master of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee. He also received his Bachelor of Science in Communications at the University of Tennessee. When not working, Adam spends time with his wife Rebecca and son Everett. They enjoy time with friends and family in Athens along with hiking, climbing, golfing, and running.

Emily has been a member of Landmark Properties since 2007. During her time with Landmark, Emily has served in varying roles both on site and at the corporate level. Ultimately finding her niche in employee development, she now holds the position of Director of Learning and Engagement. As Director of Learning and Engagement, Emily’s main objective is to provide staff with the necessary tools to succeed in their positions. This includes developing and overseeing specialized training programs, such as the Landmark Learning Lab, a year-long program that fosters internal talent. As part of her role, she is also responsible for improving employee engagement and enriching the company’s culture through her partnership with FranklinCovey and her credentials as a facilitator of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Identifying and encouraging new talent is a passion of Emily’s and one she gets to pursue regularly through her relationship with the Residential Property Management program at UGA and her Learning Committee Chair position on the UGA RPM Advisory Board.

Emily, originally from south Georgia, moved to Athens to attend the University of Georgia where she graduated with an English degree. She is also currently pursuing her Master’s in Education at UGA in Learning, Leadership, and Organizational Development. Emily currently still resides in Athens with her husband Geoff and their dogs Stella and Ripley.

Chris began his career with Landmark Properties in November 2015 as the Facilities Operation Specialist, where he will be directly responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of the maintenance staff and outside vendors. With roles such as Maintenance Supervisor with Hometown Communities to Facilities Coordinator with Asset Campus, Chris brings over 19 years of housing industry experience to the Landmark team.

Born in Cherry Point, North Carolina, Chris has lived most everywhere, but calls Springfield, Massachusetts home. After moving to Athens in 1996 to attend the University of Georgia, Chris immediately fell in love with Athens and knew this is where he wanted to remain. He currently resides in Madison with his wife Angel, and their two dogs Darby and Papi. Chris is a huge sports fanatic, and has enjoyed working UGA games for the past 11 years as an overall supervisor for the field on game days.

Lynford grew up in England playing football (known as soccer over here). He moved to America with his wife about 30 years ago and worked several jobs and even coached girls soccer at a high school in Long Branch, NJ. Lynford and his wife moved to Athens - while in Athens, he worked as a technician and then moved up to supervisor. He is now working in the Landmark Corporate office as facilities operation specialist.

On his days off, he normally works on homes doing repairs or on special occasions, visiting Jamaica or England. Lynford loves watching soccer - his team is Manchester United.

Stephanie has been a member of Landmark Properties since August 2014 and was originally hired as an Executive Assistant to the COO. While earning her Bachelor's degree in Economics at UGA, she worked in the Finance department at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation as the Accounts Payable Staff Accountant. Because of her attention to detail, her organizational skills, her experience in accounting, and her dedication and enthusiastic approach to the Landmark brand, she is now working closely with both the Business Development and Facilities teams as a Project Coordinator. Stephanie's role includes researching proposals and new vendor partnerships, reviewing and coordinating vendor contracts, assisting new property transition teams with onboarding processes, developing management tools to improve Facilities department efficiency, and participating as part of the Landmark Properties due diligence team. Stephanie currently resides with her dogs, Jethro and Ranger, in Athens, Georgia.

Keri grew up in Atlanta and lived there until moving to Statesboro, GA to attend Georgia Southern University. While attending GSU, Keri met her husband, Justin, and they now have two kids. Keri began working in Student Housing in 2004 at Campus Club in Statesboro as the Assistant Property Manager for GMH and ACC. In 2012 she moved to Athens and joined the team at 909 Broad as Operations Manager. In June 2015, Keri made a move to the Landmark Corporate office as the Operations Systems Specialist providing support to the site management as well as assisting in the set up new properties.

Kirby is a Monroe, GA Native and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2016 with a B.A. in Anthropology with a focus in Forensic Archaeology. She started her career at Landmark being the Customer Service Assistant to our training department and quickly worked her way up to a Systems Support Specialist.

She currently resides in Athens with her roommate and their cat, Q-tip. Her hobbies include taking short, random road trips, online shopping, "Netflix-ing", and going out with friends. On Sundays you can find her glued to the TV, cheering on the Atlanta Falcons.

Allison is a graduate of University of Delaware and was born and raised in Delaware. She began her career with Landmark Properties in 2014 as an Operations Manager at The Retreat in Newark, DE. She loves all the new challenges she encounters as she travels to various sites throughout the country.

In her spare time Allison loves cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins as their #1 fan. She enjoys working out to make up for her love of food, as well as, spending time with her friends and family.

Michelle Carswell is a National Operations Specialist for Landmark with over 14 years in student housing encompassing all aspects of off campus purpose built student housing management/marketing. 

Michelle joined Landmark Properties in 2016 and brings extensive experience in successful management and marketing in multi-faceted industries including hospitality, commercial and multifamily in addition to student housing. 

Michelle has been in various successful roles in the industry as general manager, area manager, district manager and prior to joining Landmark, a Regional Manager. Michelle’s specialty has been new construction large lease ups in top tier university markets seeing the properties through to stabilization and transition. 

Michelle has a BA in Mass Communications from Texas State University in San Marcos Texas where she and her husband, Kevin have two grown children Devin and Jordan. While Michelle enjoys the travel to different sites throughout the contiguous United States and the never ending challenges of student housing, she also enjoys patronizing local market ‘Mom & Pop’ establishments, particularly coffee shops/cafes, as she and her husband are also the proud co-founders in 2003 of Mochas & Javas - four San Marcos locally owned coffee shops and with a fifth location in Frisco, TX.

John serves as a Business Development and Consulting Specialist for Landmark Properties.

John provides on-site support for new communities entering Landmark's 3rdparty managed portfolio. This includes assisting site level staff in transitioning to the Landmark Properties team and implementing Landmark's best practices at the site level. John also contributes to and is involved in authoring consulting studies and assisting 3rdparty business development efforts. John's expertise includes operational troubleshooting, new lease-up management, feasibility analysis and auditing operational and lease-up properties.

John began his career in student housing while attending college. As a part-time student employee he worked as a leasing consulting and on the maintenance team. Upon graduation, John became a Leasing and Marketing Manager in Auburn, Alabama. His Student Housing experience continued to grow while advancing through all on-site roles for operational properties and new lease-up developments. John's experiences from operational properties and new lease-ups give him first-hand knowledge of what residents, managers, owners and investors are looking for in Student Housing.

John double-majored in Real Estate and Management at the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business. John is based in Austin, Texas where his primary hobby is trying to figure out new ways to beat the heat. John is also an avid supporter and fan of his alma mater and is attempting to try every barbecue restaurant in Austin.

Nicole serves as the Business Development and Consulting Specialist for Landmark Properties.

Nicole is in charge of providing on-site support for new communities entering the 3rd party-managed portfolio, assisting site level staff in joining the Landmark team and implementing Landmark's best practices at the site. In addition to this, Nicole is also heavily involved in and authoring Landmark consulting studies and assisting with 3rd party business development efforts. Nicole's experience includes high quality studies for owners and clients which includes market assessment, feasibility analysis and due diligence for acquisitions.

Nicole's experience in student housing began right out of college where she started out as a receptionist at Campus Advantage. Throughout the years, Nicole's eagerness to learn and grow within the student housing industry lead to her joining the Consulting department as a Market Analyst where she assisted with market analysis and feasibility studies, due diligence reports and operational assessments. Most recently, Nicole worked at Coastal Ridge Real Estate as a Market Research Analyst where she was in charge of producing a complete due diligence report that provided information on the market, a full inspection and overview of the property, potential improvements, as well as a full analysis of the lease files.

Nicole graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She lives in Austin, Texas where she loves taking her dog for long walks around the neighborhood, going to concerts, exercising and then negating her workouts with all the amazing food Austin has to offer.

Stephanie's passion for the housing industry began in 2013. She started her career as a Community Assistant for a student housing community located just outside of downtown Athens. While being a full time student and working part-time, she decided that she wanted to make a full-time career of Property Management. After gaining her Associates in Communications from the University of North Georgia, she did indeed go on to work full-time in Property Management. She has accepted roles ranging from Leasing/Marketing Consultant to her most recent position as Assistant Community Manager.In November 2017, Stephanie joined Landmark as Training Specialist, working to help the on boarding process of new employees.

She's taken on each operational role at various student housing properties in Athens including GM for 3 different communities in the last 6 years. She's happy to join Landmark's team and fulfill the role of Training Specialist.

In her spare time, she loves to hang out with her husband and two kids. They love going on fun adventures and taking in all that Athens has to offer.

Juzzlyn majored in Computer Science Engineering at the University of Michigan with a focus in data structures and algorithms. Juzzlyn's educational background helps him bring a unique perspective to his role and works towards streamlining the day-to-day operations of all sites within Landmark's portfolio.

Rob started his career in student housing working in Athens, Georgia with American Campus Communities. Following a short time period of working in on-site operations, he took on the role of Strategic Marketing Director, focusing on new lease ups and existing assets in need of marketing consultation.

Rob joined the Landmark Properties team in the Fall of 2012 as the Director of Leasing and Marketing. He leads the leasing and marketing team and still travels into the field on a regular basis to evaluate marketing and leasing strategies.

Rob is a graduate of the Terry College of Business and resides in Athens with his wife, Lauren, and their son, Hudson.

Meredith is joining Landmark from Chicago, Illinois. She was previously the Director of Leasing and Training with CA Student Living and oversaw the development and implementation of sales and leasing training for 23 properties across the US. Meredith began her career in leasing with CLASS, Inc. out of Atlanta. She eventually moved into the student housing industry as a Leasing Manager for Campus Living Villages in Newark, Delaware. Over the past five years, she has gained on-the-ground leasing experience in Canada, the United Kingdom, and 17 different markets across the US.

Originally from Roswell, GA, Meredith graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Psychology and Religion. She enjoys exploring new cities and spending time in the outdoors, especially if it involves any water-related activities! She can't wait to get back to Athens and to get involved again in the local community.

Vanessa Young joined the Landmark Team as a Leasing Ambassador at The Retreat Columbia in 2009. She loved living at The Retreat during her time as a student at The University of South Carolina, but loved working there even more, and quickly realized that student housing was the career path for her! Upon graduation, where she received a degree in Political Science with a minor in Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism Management, Vanessa accepted the role of Leasing and Marketing Manager. Even though she fell in love with The Retreat Columbia, and being in the midst of her fellow Gamecock nation, she decided to make the move to Corvallis Oregon in 2014 to take on the role of Sales and Marketing Manager at The Retreat at Corvallis. After rounding out a full year in Corvallis, she was given the opportunity to take on her dream role as a traveling Leasing and Marketing Specialist for Landmark Properties in 2015. She was later promoted to the Regional Leasing and Marketing Manager position in the Fall of 2016 and most recently was promoted to a Regional Vice President of Leasing and Marketing. Vanessa brings nearly 10 years’ experience exclusively with Landmark. As a Regional Vice President of Leasing and Marketing, she will be responsible for ensuring her portfolio is optimally leased by leading an existing best-in-class group of individuals.

Vanessa and her husband Kevin now reside in Athens, GA with their sweet dog child, Harlow the GSP. In her spare time, she loves traveling, watching SEC football, and trips to the coast.

While earning her Bachelor's degree in Public Relations at UGA, Rachael served as a Leasing Ambassador at Landmark's Athens site for three years. Because of her communication skills and performance in the field, she was promoted to Marketing Assistant at Landmark's corporate office while she completed her Masters in Journalism at UGA. She gained direct marketing and advertising experience in this role by supporting the Marketing Director and Marketing Coordinator with facilitating portfolio-wide marketing campaigns and providing individual support to site managers. After completing her Master's program, Rachael joined Crawford Media Services as Marketing Coordinator, helping out with any marketing needs, advertising, event coordination, and client services for the company.

In January 2014, Rachael returned to Landmark Properties as Marketing Coordinator and, over time, moved up to Creative Director. As Creative Directorfor Landmark, she primarily handles all of the marketingneeds for new development and current operating sites. These needs range from logo design and new website development to marketing strategies and artwork implementation.

Rachael is excited to be in Athens and enjoys traveling, attending local music events, and spending time with friends and family in her free time.

Haley earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing at the University of Georgia in 2011 and began working for Landmark Properties as a Leasing Ambassador at Landmark Athens. She then went on to work as an on-site manager at The Retreat at Raleigh and The Retreat at Knoxville before joining the corporate Marketing team in 2015. She has since worked with assets in over 20 markets, including a mix of operational, lease up, Landmark urban and cottage, and 3rd party management.

Adam began his career in student housing during 2006 as a Community Assistant while attending The University of Tennessee. During his last semester at UT, he joined Landmark in 2010 as a CA for The Retreat at Knoxville. Upon receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Adam transitioned to a full-time position as The Retreat's Leasing & Marketing Manager. Adam eventually moved to Operations Manager, then Community Manager at The Retreat.

Adam began working with new lease-ups during the fall of 2013 at Landmark's first urban infill project, The Standard Athens. Since then, Adam has been the Sales & Marketing Manager for The Standard St. Louis, The Standard Knoxville, and The Mark Athens. Now based out of the corporate office in Athens, Adam continues to work with Landmark's new construction projects as a Directory of Sales & Marketing.

Amanda began her career with Landmark as a Leasing Ambassador in 2014 at The Retreat at Knoxville. In 2015, she moved to Athens work as the ASMM at The Mark; once the projected delivery was delayed to 2016, she moved over to the corporate office to help as a Leasing & Marketing Assistant. Once the lease-up phase for The Mark began, she transitioned back to the property to serve as the Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager. She then rejoined the corporate office in February 2017 as a travelling Marketing and Leasing Specialist then was promoted in September 2017 to Regional Leasing and Marketing Manager.

As a Regional Leasing & Marketing Manager, Amanda provides onsite & remote support in all Leasing & Marketing efforts, to her region. Amanda’s portfolio is made up of the Newark, Knoxville, Charlotte, San Marcos, Berkeley, Chattanooga, Johnson City, Starkville, and Austin markets.

Amanda is originally from Johnsburg, Illinois and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where she received a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management. She works remotely in Naperville, Illinois where she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends, family, and new Labrador puppy Knox.

Janelle graduated from Mississippi State University in 2013, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, emphasizing in Marketing, Management & Finance. Upon graduation, Janelle accepted a full-time Leasing & Marketing Manager role in Oxford, MS. Since starting in the Student Housing industry, Janelle has worked in 4 different markets, beginning in 2011 as a Junior in college. She found then that Student Housing provided her with the fast paced, energetic environment that she craved, in addition to providing a stable career path and future growth! Janelle joined the Landmark Properties Corporate team in 2017 as a Marketing & Leasing Specialist. As she continued to grow with the company, Janelle accepted the role as Regional Leasing & Marketing Manager in April of 2018.

As a Regional Leasing & Marketing Manager, Janelle provides onsite & remote support in all Leasing & Marketing efforts, to her Florida Region. Janelle’s portfolio is made up of the Orlando, Tampa, Gainesville & Tallahassee markets.

In Janelle's spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and 3 dogs. She also enjoys completing DIY projects, travelling to new and familiar locations and trying new foods!

Ashley Kupets Welbourn earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Georgia with a concentration in Graphic Design in 2008. While getting her degree she was also competing on the UGA gymnastics team, where she was helped the team to three National Championship Team titles and individual All-American honors. After graduating she spent eight years in Las Vegas, where she performed as an acrobat in three different Cirque Du Soleil shows. During her time as an acrobat in Las Vegas she was freelancing as a Graphic Designer for numerous companies and shows. Ashley then went on to teach the singer, Pink, aerial acrobats for her Truth About Love Tour and was her stand-in during the staging and prepping for the show. She met her now husband in Cirque Du Soleil and they have a 21 month old daughter, Madeline. Ashley recently moved back to Athens and joined the Graphic Design team at Landmark Properties. She primarily handles designing promotional material while maintaining the company's branding.

Ashley is excited to be back in Athens and designing for a great company full time. In her spare time she loves spending time with her friends and family and you can probably find her at the park with her daughter or at a UGA sporting event!

She started her student housing career as a Community Assistant with ACC in Tempe, Arizona, and has held the positions of Leasing Manager, Assistant General Manager, General Manager, Operations Specialist, and Director of Leasing and Marketing.

Andrea graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in Small Business Management and has lived in Austin, Minneapolis, and Hawaii. She currently resides in Los Angeles and has worked at the University of Southern California for the past 2 years. Kaylia started her career in student housing while in College at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Victim Studies with a Minor in General Business. While in college she became part of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity Incorporated, the oldest and largest business fraternity to this current date.

She started as a Community Assistant at The Grove in Huntsville and excelled to a Leasing and Marketing Manager with Campus Crest Communities at The Grove Gainesville in Florida. Campus Crest Communities merged with Asset Campus Housing where she was promoted to Assistant General Manager of Varsity House Gainesville formerly The Grove Gainesville.

She recently left Santa Barbara, California where she was the Property Manager of a student housing property and Beach Houses for St. George & Associates. She recently just moved back to her home town Dallas, Texas with her Yorkshire Terrier Jojo. Her interests are spending time with her family, sewing, making new designs, volunteering at non-profit organizations, singing, and mentoring young kids just to name a few.

Joel Gregory joined Landmark Properties in 2010 and now serves as CFO for the company. After obtaining a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Georgia, Joel has worked in public accounting, founded a beverage distributorship where he was co-owner and CFO, assisted in the start-up of an IT company as V.P. of Finance, served as CFO of a commercial construction company and served as Controller as well as V.P. of Sales & Marketing of a mid-sized residential builder.
Joel has served on the board of a local Chamber of commerce as well as the board of directors for multiple builder associations.

Jon joined Landmark in 2015 as Vice President of Fund Accounting. His responsibilities include investor reporting, treasury management, coordinating annual GAAP audits and tax returns and serving as a key team member for acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio management for accounting, tax and regulatory issues.

Prior to joining Landmark, Jon was the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Signature Office REIT, a non-traded commercial real estate investment trust based in Norcross, GA that focused on Class-A office real estate leased to top-tier tenants across the U.S. He previously worked as a Divisional Controller with Wells Real Estate Funds where he was responsible for financial reporting, modeling, and strategic analyses for the executive management team. Jon started his career as an accountant with SunTrust Bank, Inc. working with the bank's mortgage REITs and affordable housing companies.

Jon received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration from Mercer University.

Tyler joined Landmark Properties in 2015 as Vice President of Risk Management. He is responsible for overseeing the corporate insurance program and requirements for the Landmark family of companies. Previously Tyler worked for Equity Residential, in Chicago and before that The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio, in Columbus, Ohio. Tyler has been in risk management for over 20 years.

Tyler holds a bachelor degree in Risk Management from The Ohio State University, a law degree from Capital University.

Tyler and his wife, Jenny, live in Statham with their dog, Maddie. They enjoy cheering for their favorite sports teams, Tyler The Ohio State Buckeyes and Jenny the Chicago Cubs and Bears.

Sheila heads up the accounting team at Landmark Properties. A native of Moultrie, Georgia, her family has been involved in construction and development there for many years. Sheila attended the University of Montevallo, and graduated with a degree in Music Education. She taught Choral Music in public schools for 10 years before entering the business world.

Prior to joining the Landmark team in 2008, Sheila worked productively as a cost accountant for several builders and developers in the North Georgia area. She began working with Landmark Properties as a contract worker until the principals decided they needed her expertise in-house, readily available to them and their investors. Sheila proactively works with property owners during their purchase and remains on a first-name basis with them once they start receiving their monthly disbursement checks. She is an active supporter of North Oconee High School, where her daughter, Mary Catherine, attends.

After graduating from NGCSU, Andrew spent 8 years working for his family's business managing national sales. For the last 9 or so years, he's worked in accounting. He spent almost 7 years at InterCall/West Corp - the world's largest provider of teleconferencing technology - in a number of accounting positions but specialized in telecommunication taxation and tax audits in the US and Canada.

He spent the last year at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA, mainly preparing consolidated financial reports and statutory reporting to HUD. He and his wife (married 14 years this April!!) have now relocated to Bishop, GA with their 2 children, Juliana and John Hunter, and are excited for their new adventure! Andrew and his family love to camp, hike, sail, and really anything outdoors!

Rob joined Landmark Properties in 2015 as Financial Analyst for Cottage Construction. He is responsible for tracking all financial items related to past, present, and future cottage construction developments and contributing analysis to inform the firm's investment and financial management decisions.

Prior to joining Landmark, Rob was a Senior Accountant at North American Properties in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was responsible for the operations accounting of the multi-family property portfolio, including budgeting, consolidations, and fair market value reporting. Before entering the real estate industry, Rob started his career in public accounting at KPMG, LLP, as an external auditor.

Rob is a native of Northern Kentucky and graduated from the University of Louisville where he received his degree in Accounting. Rob lives in Athens with his girlfriend, Maggie, and they enjoy hiking, boating, playing recreational sports, and listening to live music.

Connor joined the accounting team at Landmark in the Summer of 2018. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in the spring of 2015 with a degree in accounting and minor in economics. After graduating, he moved back to his home state of New Jersey and worked as an auditor for a small accounting firm that focused on audits of townships, counties, and public schools. From there he relocated to Tampa, Florida where he worked as a financial analyst within the Research Finance department at Moffitt Cancer Center.

In his spare time he enjoys working out and is a big fan of college football as well as professional hockey. Connor is a foodie at heart, and loves trying out new restaurants. He also has a passion for cooking. Connor currently lives in Athens, GA with his girlfriend, Marilyn.

Born and raised in Macon, Keaton grew up playing basketball & golf and really enjoyed the small town life. He moved to the north Atlanta area with his parents and siblings in 2011.

While in college, he helped found the Beta Lambda Chapter of Kappa Sigma with friends from Macon, Atlanta, and Athens. After finishing school, he worked with Carr, Riggs, & Ingram, a CPA firm in Tifton, GA as a staff accountant preparing taxes. Three years later, Taylor moved back to Watkinsville to continue his accounting career at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro briefly before accepting the staff accountant position at Landmark Properties.

Taylor is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys hunting and fishing year-round and travelling on hunting trips with his friends. He also is a college football recruiting guru where he follows UGA. He has a huge passion for Georgia football and attends almost every game. Taylor is excited to be back working for Landmark Properties in his hometown of Athens.

Alli is a native of Athens Georgia and is currently attending University of North Georgia, pursing a degree in Business Administration to be completed in the spring of 2016. Joining the Construction Accounting Department in August of 2011, Susanne served as an Account Manager for two years and advanced into the role of Assistant Controller. Her main responsibilities are to audit and oversee the monthly draw process for our current projects as well as communicate with bank representatives, outside auditor and our investment partner to assure that draw packages are submitted within their guidelines and funding is received accurately and in a timely manner. Susanne is also responsible for the pre-development thru closing accounting as well as set up of new projects and assisting the CFO with cash flow and monthly financial reports.

Susanne, born and raised in a small town in Sweden, graduated with a degree in Economics/Accounting and moved to The United States and became a citizen. Susanne began her career in the collections department of a large health insurance company in Connecticut and moved to Georgia in 1991 where she has many years of experience heading up the accounting department of a Swedish company in Norcross. In 2004 Susanne and her family moved to Athens where she accepted a position as Office/Accounting Manager for a Residential/Commercial Builder and Property Manager.

Susanne resides with her husband Jeff, they have 4 wonderful children, a dog and horses.

Sandy Murray started with Landmark Properties in 2014 and brings over 18 years of accounting experience to the team. She began her career in Atlanta as a Project Manager for a Fortune 500 company. Working her way up, her eventual responsibility was programmer analyst, which included work in accounting, administration, computer systems and business services.

For the last 10 years, Sandy worked in the construction industry where she was the Vice President of BridgeCreek Construction, Inc. Some of her responsibilities included the preparation of financial statements, operating budgets, account reconciliation and monthly reporting.

Sandy was a member of The Monroe Junior Service League. She is currently a member of First Baptist Church of Monroe and has served on several mission teams. Sandy currently resides in Good Hope with her husband, Jason and her two boys, Cade and Reid.

Christy joined the Construction Accounting team when the Retreat projects were just beginning in 2007. She is responsible for the processing, reviewing and funding of the construction draws for our multi-million dollar projects. She effectively communicates with Construction and Project Managers, Superintendents, Subcontractors, Vendors and Banking affiliates to manage draw requests and requirements. She is also responsible for contract and insurance management, preparation of financial statements and account reconciliations. Prior to Landmark Construction, Christy worked in Financial Operations in the Mortgage Banking industry for over 4 years. She was continuously ranked a Top Associate through company metrics and was nominated by her co-workers where she received runner-up for a prestigious Company-Wide Service award.

Christy is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and attended Kennesaw State University on a full music scholarship for Music Performance and Education. Her passion is still music and you will find her singing in churches or women's conferences. Kristy moved to Athens and started her career in banking and accounting in 2000. She spent more than nine years at an Athens bank gaining experience in several fields. After banking, she started her career with a Medical Practice with 22 locations in Georgia, Florida and Tennessee as an Accounting Rep where she gained more than seven years of experience.

Kristy has a son that keeps her very busy, so away from work in the spring and summer, you will probably find her at the baseball field and in the fall on the football bleachers. If they aren’t there, you’ll find them either at Sanford, the tailgate, Stegeman or Foley Field cheering on the Dawgs.

Prior to joining Landmark, Kyle worked in sales for The Coca-Cola Company managing food-service accounts in the Greater Salt Lake City area.

Originally from Florida, Betsey grew up mostly in Marietta, Georgia. She previously handled human resources, payroll, and accounts payable for the City of Madison in Madison, Georgia. Prior to that, she worked for seven years in bank operations for Bank of Madison.

Betsey is married and has two daughters, two dogs, and two cats - but her family only claims one cat as really theirs. She loves to cook, sing, kayak, travel, snowboard whenever possible, and loves to grow tomatoes on her two acres in Morgan County.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2009, Jenny began her career in the hospitality industry at The Georgia Club, where she served as the Director of Special Events until she joined the Landmark team in 2014.

After two years serving as the Executive Assistant to the CEO & Owner, Jenny transitioned to her current role as Landmark's Recruiting & Administrative Support Manager. Sarah has worked in the housing industry for 5 years. She spent 3 years in student housing as a Leasing Consultant throughout college, then moved to residential housing as a Property Manager for Chastain, Jenkins, and Leathers upon college graduation.

In her free time, she enjoys kickboxing at 9Round, attending UGA football games, playing tennis, and trying new restaurants in downtown Athens.

Prior to Landmark, Hilary served as the Office Administrator and Children's Ministry Coordinator at Riverside Church.

Hilary is a native of both Franklin Springs and Athens, Georgia. She attended Emmanuel College, where she received a B.A. in Psychology upon graduation in 2013. Combined with his previous experience as a service manager at various student and conventional housing properties, Zach has been in the property management industry for over 13 years.

Roger Burgess joined Landmark Properties and Collegiate Construction in 2007 and has over 30 years of active involvement in the construction industry. He has extensive experience in pre-planning development, plans review, code issues, licensing, and hands-on construction operation experience.

Roger holds contractor licenses in several states and has been a partner in his own General Contracting firm, Burgess Brothers, Inc. Roger works with architects, engineers, and building officials to coordinate plans/specs, plans review, code compliance, etc to obtain building permits and certificates of completion. Roger also works with field superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate job progress, quality assurance, means and methods, and budget considerations.

Roger resides in Athens, GA with his wife Jackie, son Tyler, and daughter Madelaine.

Kyle Moore joined the Landmark Team in January 2015. He brings 8 years of experience in the multi-family housing and seniors housing sectors. Most recently, Kyle served as Manager of Construction and Development at Ventas, Inc. where he led project management efforts on over $50 million in capital expenditures, development, and redevelopment projects. Additionally, Kyle completed over $300 million in high-rise, multi-family residential construction in Chicago while serving in various roles for Lend Lease, Inc.

During his career, Kyle has managed a number of facets of the development and construction lifecycle including underwriting, preconstruction, project management, procurement, scheduling, quality control, safety, project closeout, and asset management.

A 2007 graduate of Northwestern University where he played on the Varsity Men's Soccer team, Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Kyle also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with majors in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Kyle is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois and a LEED AP BD&C Accredited Professional.

During his free time, Kyle enjoys golf, soccer, outdoor activities, and spending time with his wife, Georgia Anne, and 10 month old daughter, Suzanna Grace.

Todd Cooper joined Landmark Construction in 2016. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a Minor in Business Administration. Todd also holds a Master's in Business Administration with an emphasis in Organizational Management and Entrepreneurship from Georgia State University, J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

Todd has 14 years of experience in commercial construction. He began his career with large commercial projects such as the Georgia World Congress Center and Disney Resorts. He then transitioned to multifamily development where he built high-end market rate apartments throughout the "Sun Belt region". After that he managed the construction of over 600 military housing units before returning to commercial construction after completing his MBA program.

Todd is a Six Sigma certified Green Belt and obtained general contracting licenses in multiple states. He was appointed Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Committee in Maysville, GA. He also holds various construction education and management certificates.

Todd and his wife, Ashley, have two daughters, Ava Grace and Emma. The Coopers attend Athens Church where both Todd and Ashley serve as Guest Services volunteers.

He later went on to manage The Retreat Columbia and The Retreat Knoxville projects. Heath now serves in the role of Construction Manager with daily hands-on interaction with Project Superintendents, Suppliers, and Subcontractors. His primary responsibilities include scheduling, contracting, procurement, and project logistics.

Heath obtained his BBA in Business Management from UGA in 2004. Prior to joining Landmark, Heath developed and built several high-end residential homes in Athens, GA.

After attending Georgia Southern College, Tony Bryant began with his building and construction career with a small lumber company in his hometown of Elberton, GA in 1980. A construction career that has traversed all aspects of residential construction, he started managing the construction of contract and custom homes in 1993 in the Oconee County and Athens area markets with high end remodeling a part of the mix . Tony arrived on his first Landmark Retreat projects in 2006 at Jonas Avenue and Retreat South. His Retreat road journeys began in 2008 in Columbia, SC. followed by Knoxville, TN, Denton, TX, San Marcos, TX, State College, PA, Orlando, FL, Corvallis, OR, and Gainesville, FL.

He and his wife Debi reside in Oconee County on their farm, affectionately known as Echobrook Farms.

Tom Montgomery joined the Landmark Team in July of 2016. He brings more than 30 years of experience in Multi-family, Hospitality, Healthcare and Commercial. He has a broad range of experience to oversee every aspect of the construction process from Programming, function space planning, Development, Government Review/Approval, Design-Build Construction, Budgeting, and Insurance Loss Prevention. To date, Tom has worked on over 100 projects in all types of ground up to renovation projects, ranging from $500,000 to over $200 million. 

Prior to joining Landmark Construction, he had worked for Kaiser Permanente as Construction Group Lead. At Kaiser he was solely Instrumental in developing standardization to reduce cost and complete projects on time. During a 5-year cycle of performance, Tom was able to be 79% proficiency in Time & Budget. He also worked for Several Multi Family and Home Builder Companies. In addition, he was the Vice President of Hotel Development with HBE Corporation of St. Louis, Missouri. This Design/Build firm was the largest firm for Healthcare in the United States with their own-flagged Adam Mark Hotels. 

Tom is a 1981 graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Architect and is a Registered Architect. 

Tom has been married for 32 years to his wife Renee. The Montgomery’s are very proud of the young adult children, Michael and Emily, and they have two grandsons, Liam and Mason.

Tony joined Landmark in 2016. He brings 15 years of construction management experience across various markets including Student Housing, Multifamily, Education, Government, Commercial, Hospitality and Industrial. Tony has led project teams through CM at Risk, Design-Build, and Design-Bid-Build delivery methods. He graduated from the University of West Florida in 2001 with a BSBA-Management degree and is a credentialed LEED AP BD+C. Three of his projects were certified LEED Gold. Tony lives in Dacula, GA with his wife Natasha and their 2 sons AJ and Jack. He enjoys volunteering with their church, traveling, and spending time with his family in the great outdoors.

Andy Whittemore joined Landmark Construction in 2017. Prior to joining Landmark, Andy was a Project Manager for Golden Construction in Birmingham, AL. He managed multiple multifamily developments and assisted in the preconstruction phases. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree focused in Construction Management from East Carolina University and has over 10 years experience in the multifamily/student housing market.

Andy currently lives in Auburn, AL with his wife Jessica and four children Drew, Anna Grace, Mason and William.

Tim Fugate started his journey in construction & business when he was just 19 years old. At this time he was running a small electrical company and was able to grow that company into a $2.3 million dollar a year company with 6 office and 45 full-time field employees. Then in 1995, he started a General Construction Company and added that to his portfolio, and grew that business into a $6 million dollar a year company.

Over these years he has gained experience in Operations Management, Construction Development, Design, Blue Print take off and design, construction Budgets, as well Mold Remediation. In 2009 he was hired to develop and run all property inspections, Vendors, and repairs for the REO and property preservation division in all of Southern California for a Fannie Mae contractor Regis Development.

As he worked for Regis where he was instrumental in staffing 4 new office locations throughout So Cal. and hiring 100 new vendors in a 2.5 year period.

With all of his past experience this has prepared him well for his current position.

He is currently managing two large jobs. One is an $85 million student housing project with 856 beds in Tallahassee Florida, and the second is a $75 million student housing project with 755 beds in Tampa Florida. His past experiences in every facet of business, construction and development have really given him the preparation, tools and confidence to succeed in his current position with Landmark Properties.

Tom Brasher joined the Landmark Team in March 2016. A native of southwestern Pennsylvania, Tom spent the previous 10 years working for a general contractor in State College, PA. During this time, he oversaw over 40 projects at Penn State University, including classroom, office, dorm, and lab renovations/additions, large-scale mechanical upgrades, new research facilities, and the construction of a new softball stadium complex. Additionally, his off-campus work covered a wide variety of market sectors, including housing, medical, retail, K12, agriculture, institutional, highway, bridge, and hospitality. Prior to moving into project management, Tom held a number of roles, including inspector, surveyor, estimator, and land development engineer.

A 2003 graduate of Penn State University, Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Tom also earned a Master of Science from Stanford University in Construction, Engineering, and Management.

Tom is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Pennsylvania and a LEED Accredited Professional. He also holds a Certificate of Management-Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM) through Associated General Contractors of America (AGC).

During his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, Jill, and their four young children.

Prior to joining Landmark, John was a Project Manager with Walsh – Archer Western, primarily working at Victory Park, in Dallas.

He and his wife, Valerie, are blessed with two sons: Zane (fifteen) and Camden (twelve).

Prior to joining Landmark, Pablo was a General Manager and Partner with HCM in Miami, Fl, where he managed HCM Hospitality and Development Divisions, overseeing Design, Financials and Construction for several projects locally and international (10 countries). He brings 20 years of experience in Hospitality, Residential, Civil and Commercial projects.

His experience also includes various construction management roles with Turner Construction, FCC Spain, and Telefonica. He also found and is a board member of Out of Line Foundation, which focuses in providing education for girls between ages of 10 thru 12 years old in Santa Marta, Colombia.

Before joining Landmark, James was the senior Project manager for ODC Construction in Orlando. He was in charge of starting the west coast division which included setting new contracts and expanding the customer base in the area.

He and his wife just celebrated their first anniversary this past October.

He and his family: his wife, Melindy, daughter, Grayson, and son, Beau, live in Mansfield, GA and are members of Macedonia Baptist Church in Jackson, GA.

Joshua is a native of Central Georgia, specifically Milledgeville, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Master of Arts degree in Teaching at Georgia College and State University. He is a graduate of Dale Carnegie Leadership Training for Managers course. Joshua completed the Gatekeeper training course; Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) for suicide prevention. He brings 4 years of Safety Coordinator experience predominately gained through the railcar and chemical industry as well as superintendent experience in both industries.

Joshua is an avid sports fan and loyal to the home teams: Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks, and Atlanta United. The only team that is a favorite that is not local is the Pittsburgh Penguins. He enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors. Joshua is also involved in some charitable organizations such Humane Society, Jane Goodall Institute, and Friends of the Smokies.

Stephens is a Construction Aggregate Producer and Recycling Facility serving the Downtown Atlanta/South Metro markets. Before taking the position at Stephens, Jason owned a construction business, performing as a subcontractor in the Heavy Civil/Foundation Improvement markets in the public and private sectors. Outside of work, he currently coaches youth football at Prince Avenue Christian School. He and his wife Sandy have two sons and live in Monroe, GA.

Donna Hagerott joined Landmark Construction in 2015. Prior to Landmark she was Director of Preconstruction with Mill Creek Residential. She brings over 20 years of experience in multifamily residential development to the Landmark team. Her experience includes ten years as Project Architect responsible for all phases of design and construction documents, four years as developer responsible for land acquisition and entitlements and the remaining in the construction division managing the project professionals, permitting and execution. Donna earned her Bachelor of Architecture at New York Institute of Technology. She is a LEED Accredited Professional. Donna served on the Board of Directors for the USGBC South Florida Chapter and was a regular volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of Broward in addition to serving on Habitat's construction committee. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, volunteering and spending time with her husband Sean and their two daughters.

Giovanna Salgado joined Landmark Construction as Preconstruction Manager October in 2015. She brings over five years of experience in Multifamily Developments. Prior to Landmark she was Assistant Project Manager at Corwil Architects in Coral Gables, FL. involved in all phases of construction. In addition, Giovanna worked as a Designer at Insight Design and Madfis Group in South Florida assisting with production of Construction Documents in both architecture and interior design of new construction and rehabilitation projects.

Giovanna earned her Master's in Architecture at the University of Miami in 2010. Acceptance to the University allowed for opportunity to study abroad both in Japan and Italy which broadened her design skills. Along with her Master's degree she is also LEED Certified.

During her free time, Giovanna is exploring all that Athens has to offer. In her spare time, she is usually traveling and practicing her love for photography.

With 20 years of experience as a Project Manager and Architect, from design development to team management and scheduling to project completion, Mr. Rodriguez applies his knowledge to each area of a construction project. He joins Landmark Properties from AHS® Development Group in Miami, Florida, where he served for a year as Design Coordinator, leading the Design unit in the research of new construction methods and running QC with the Construction team. Prior to that, he served as Senior Project Manager for Corwil Architects, Inc. His portfolio features the design development of several multi-family residences including “Modera Metro” and “Modera Dadeland” builds near Dadeland Mall [a 25-story tower, seven-story building and eight-story building]; as well as the Galleria at Fairchild, which is used as a multi-functional event venue.

His successful career spans South Florida, the Caribbean and South America with involvement in key projects including Aloft hotel in Aventura, FL, both the “Monte Carlo” and the “Ritz Carlton Club and Residences” on Collins Avenue, “Louis E. Brown – Phase II” in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, and a 3,000 sq. ft. private residence in Caracas, Venezuela, only to name a few.

Mr. Rodriguez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Caracas. His senior thesis “Adicora: An integrative hotel design project for community-oriented tourism” earned him honors.

Cyle has been working in the design and construction field for over twenty years. He has had the pleasure of working on a wide range of project types from retail to churches, K-12 schools and higher education to healthcare, sports facilities to government buildings and even the Atlanta International Terminal. Cyle graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. degree in Architectural Design in 1998. He went back to school part-time from 2008 to 2012 at Southern Polytechnic State University and earned certificates in Construction Project Management and Specialty Construction. During his tenures at architectural firms, he managed projects throughout all design phases and construction to the opening dedication and beyond. He has had the privilege working with national retailers Whole Foods and Home Depot, Grady Hospital and Wellstar Health System, and most recently working for the University of Georgia.

After work hours, Cyle enjoys spending time with his wife Aimee working on multiple DIY projects at their 101 year-old home in Danielsville, watching movies, and taking care of their dog Mattie. He is also a member of Cornerstone Church Athens where he does some volunteer work in their food pantry.

Brian Clapp Senior Construction Manager

Brian Clapp began with Landmark in 2014. He has more than 20 years of senior level facilities and construction contract management experience with the US Navy Civil Engineer Corps. Additionally, he has worked in the commercial market for an internationally renowned environmental engineering consulting firm and a woman-owned, 8(a) construction management services/A&E firm. He has managed all lifecycle aspects of facilities planning, budgeting and maintenance operations, and general contracting for facilities design, construction, repair and maintenance programs.

He is currently pursuing a PhD in Civil Engineering after having receiving his MS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Masters of Engineering from Old Dominion University. He earned his BSCE in Civil Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Brian's military highlights include multiple contingency deployments to Iraq, Haitian earthquake humanitarian relief efforts and a four-year assignment to the White House Military Office supporting the President, Vice-President and allied agencies.

Brian is a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia and State of North Carolina, a Certified Construction Manager, Project Management Professional, Facility Management Administrator and LEED Accredited Professional.

During his free time, Brian spends time traveling, outdoors and training for crossfit competitions. He has three children ages, 12, 14 & 17.

Bob brings more than 30 years of professional experience to the Landmark team. Most recently he worked as the Deputy Engineer/Commander for the Wilmington District, US Army Corps of Engineers. Bob has become very familiar with all phases of project deliverables, including project management & contractor relations, governmental contact, programming, functional space planning, and cost estimating and budgeting. During his Army career, he has managed all facets of design and construction programs for the Departments of Defense, Energy, and Homeland Security, and foreign governments exceeding $30 million.

He earned his Bachelor of Science at the United States Military Academy at West Point in Electrical Engineering. He earned his Masters of Arts in Management from Webster University and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from Syracuse University. Bob's experience while in the U.S. Army includes leading units in the 1st Infantry Division, 1st Armored Division, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, 4th Engineer Brigade, USNORTHCOM and deployed and served in Europe, Balkans, Middle East.

Bob loves to enjoy his free time with his wife Kim and their children and grandchildren.

Maurice began his construction career working for his father in the family custom home business. He most recently worked for a mid-sized commercial general contractor in Texas, focusing on apartment projects geared towards college students. Maurice has more than 30 years experience in the construction industry and has functioned as Owner Representative on numerous projects that include luxury condo/hotels, ski resorts, mid-rise condos and luxury single family resort properties. He also led the construction management of the general contractor for a beach-side resort in Florida and another in South Carolina.

Maurice also worked for a nationally known hotel renovation management firm. In that capacity, he managed the renovation of major hotels in Boston, Chicago, Manhattan, and San Juan Puerto Rico. Maurice and his wife, Bonnie, raised 1 girl and 2 boys. He enjoys spending time with family, especially their 2 grandchildren. Maurice is also a veteran who served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force.

Desi brings more than 8 years of professional experience to the Landmark team. Most recently, he worked with ConMed Corporation as a Factory Manager and Engineer providing leadership, direction, coordination and evaluation of production teams to the Implants, Grinding, Molding, and Shaver Blade Factories. During his Army career with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Desi managed all phases of project deliverables, including project management & contractor relations, governmental contact, programming, functional space planning, and cost estimating and budgeting. He managed the successful construction, delivery, and quality of over 10 projects worth $24.6 million while assigned to the USACE - Mobile Engineer District.

Desi earned his Bachelor of Science at the United States Military Academy at West Point in Civil Engineering and earned his Masters of Science in Geological Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Additionally, Desi earned his PMP and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Credential from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His experience while in the U.S. Army includes leading units in the 3rd Infantry Division, 14thCombat Engineer Battalion and deploying to Afghanistan. He is currently pursuing his Professional Engineer License.

During his free time, Desi enjoys spending time his wife, Leigh, and daughter, Emma.

A native of Athens, Turner joined Landmark in 2015 and held roles in project management and preconstruction before moving to 3rd party construction. Turner has over 10 years of experience working as a project engineer, assistant superintendent and project manager for both general contractors and specialty contractors in the state of Georgia.

Turner is also active in the community and currently serves as a trustee for the Athens Clarke Heritage Foundation, where he helps to facilitate preservation and awareness of significant places in and around the city. 

In his free time, Turner enjoys exploring historic sites, camping/hiking, and cooking at home with his wife, Elaine, and their son, Heath. He also plays guitar & banjo, and is an avid supporter of the local music scene.
